Joanna Cohn is a multidisciplinary artist working across print, painting and installation.
‘For me image-making is a subversive form of mapping the world and way to navigate the unknown’.
Jo graduated from The RCA in 2024, where she was awarded an MA in Print supported by The Leverhulme Trust.
She recently won the Nasdaq Art Prize, The Landmark Art Prize, The Graduate Art Prize, Intaglio Printmakers Prize, GBS Fine Art Prize, Rosemary Simmons Lithography Award and her work was selected for the Clifford Chance Printmaking in London show, the V&A Illustration Awards, RCA Hyundai Awards for Excellence in Creativity and Sustainability and RA Summer Exhibition amongst other accolades.
She is the current recipient of the prestigious Tim and Belinda Mara Award st Hampstead School of Art, and is visiting artist at Buckinghamshire New University as part of the AA2A scheme. She is the featured artist of Art@The Grange as part of The Grange Festival this summer. Her work will be featured at the New Arts Exchange Open in Nottingham from May 31st, and at The Cupola Gallery, Sheffield as part of the ‘Inside/ Outside’ show from the 7 June.
